Dinky Dinos: The Fearless Octopus (pre-school age)

Dinky Dinos – our early years story telling club – is back for 2022 with even more great sessions! This week join Dino and some cuddly toy friends to read a story where you travel under the sea! Then take part in some themed activities and crafts!

Please note, children must be supervised by an adult at all times and sessions last between hour and an a half.

Friday 1st April

Take Action!

Climate change will affect lots of people in lots of ways, but what can we do about it? Learn about some ways you can make a difference through activities with the Dino’s crew, and then make your own poster all about how to protect Planet Earth!

Dino’s Outdoors: Beautiful Botanicals

Learn about different methods to capture images, take your own nature ‘photograph’, and have a go at plant dissection and biological sketching!

PLEASE READ THIS ESSENTIAL INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING!

These sessions are two hours long

digiDinos: Crafty Coders (8-14)

Join Dino in some challenges designed to get you thinking like a coder.  In this workshop you will take part in activities to learn how computer code works, have a go at controlling a robot, write code to play games, make music from electric circuits and much more.

The session is on Friday afternoon and lasts 3.5hrs.

Friday 15th April

We will be exploring habitats around Dynamic Earth, looking for different plants, creepy crawlies and other critters. What lives in the undergrowth? What can we learn from these different species?
